AMAZING!
A fox hunting in the snow:
I won’t bore people with lots of analysis, just thought I would share this since its so cool… and crazy.
What an interesting action. Also, notice the actions of the tail… unlike any tail movements I’ve seen on any animation reels – but then again, most of the time those animations are all about overlap and not about using the tail for balance and throwing your weight.

Wow cool! Thanks for sharing that……….had to watch it a bunch of times. Amazing to watch.
Well, I thought I commented on this a long time ago, but I guess I did not. I just wanted to say that this is great reference. I am currently animating a dog and notice it is so easy to want to continue that spine movement through the tail, but it is so interesting to notice that in life, the tail has a motivation of its own, seperate from the body. I’ll have to see if I can’t incorporate this in a test soon. Thanks for your observations Jacob.

Great dude!
When do i get to see your dog animation?!
that fox obviously doesn’t understand anything about correct tail overlap!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. If you love this you should get the BBC Planet Earth box sets. I love those
I already have them! (on Bluray nonetheless) They’re amazing, aren’t they!?
Love ‘em.
